by Finance Act, 2020 in respect of exemption from
Health Cess — Amendment to Notification No. 8/2020-
Cus.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the
Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 141 of the Finance Act, 2020 (12
of 2020), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the
public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notifica-
tions of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Rev-
enue), No. 8/2020-Customs, dated the 2nd February, 2020, published in the Ga-
zette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 68 (E), dated the 2nd February,
2020, namely :-
