Extension of last date of export cut and polished
Diamonds, Gold, Silver and Platinum jewellery by six
months, for cases where last date of export falls
between 1-2-2020 and 31-7-2020 due to the outbreak of
COVID-19 pandemic — Amendment to Notification
Nos. 40/2015-Cus., 56/2000-Cus. and 57/2000-Cus.
[Amend at pages 1402, 1398 and 1399 of 71st Edition of Customs Tariff, Vol. 1, 2020-
21]
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the
Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is
necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amend-
ments in each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below,
which shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner
specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely :-

2020, the last date stands extended by six
months;”.

ruary, 2020 and the 31st July, 2020, the last
