Human Embryos — Export Policy Revised

Subject : Amendment in Export Policy of Human Embryos.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Devel-
opment & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para
1.02 & 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Central Government here-
by, amends the export policy of Human Embryos under Chapter 5 of ITC (HS), 2018,
Schedule-2 (Export Policy).
4. New entry at Serial No. 49A is inserted in Chapter 5 of Schedule 2 of
ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, as under :

5. Effect of this Notification :
Human Embryos/Gametes/Gonad tissues are “Free” for export subject
to ‘No Objection Certificate’ from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

Tyres — Import Policy revised to ‘Restricted’ from ‘Free’
Subject : Amendment in Import Policy of Tyres.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read
with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amend-
ed from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy
of all items under ITC HS Code 4011 10, 4011 20, 4011 40 and 4011 50 of Chapter
40 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I (Import Policy) as below :
