2. Effect of this Notification :
The Notification No. 54, dated 25-3-2020 has been amended to change
the export policy of Hydroxychloroquine API and its formulations from “Prohib-
ited” to “Free”, with immediate effect.

revised and Export of specified PPEs Prohibited
Subject : Amendment in Export Policy of Personal Protection Equipment/Masks.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Devel-
opment & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para
1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government here-
by makes following amendment in the Notification No. 44, dated 31-1-2020 read
with Notification No. 6, dated 16-5-2020 amending the Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS)
Export Policy related to the export of Personal Protection Equipments/masks as
under :

2. Effect of this Notification :
Notification No. 44, dated 31-1-2020 read with Notification No. 6, dated
16-5-2020 is amended to the extent that only items as described above, ex-
ported against the mentioned HS codes or falling under any other HS
code, are prohibited for export, as part of prohibition on personal protec-
tion equipments. All other items are freely exportable.
