Export of Ventilators and Sanitizers Prohibited — Notifica-
tion No. 52 dated 19-3-2020 amended
Subject : Amendment in Export Policy of Ventilators including any artificial
respiratory apparatus or oxygen therapy apparatus or any other breath-
ing appliance/device and Sanitizers.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Devel-
opment & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para
1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government here-
by makes the following amendments :
A. Serial No. 207 B of the Schedule 2 of the ITC HS Export Policy in the Notifica-
tion No. 52 dated 19-3-2020 related to export of Ventilators is amended as follows,
with immediate effect :

B. The Export Policy related to the export of Sanitizers is amended as follows,

2. The provision under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP)
2015-20 regarding transitional arrangement is not applicable for this notification.
3. Effect of this Notification :
The Serial No. 207 B of the Schedule 2 of the ITC HS Export Policy as
specified in the Notification No. 52 dated 19-3-2020 is amended to the extent that
the export of all ventilators including any artificial respiratory apparatus or oxy-
