Tariff values of Crude Palm oil, RBD Palm oil, Palm oil (others), Crude
Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Palmolein (others), Soyabean oil, Brass Scrap (all
grades), Gold and Silver revised. — Tariff values of Crude Palm oil, RBD Palm
oil, Palm oil (others) Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Palmolein (others), Soy-
abean oil and Brass Scrap (all grades) have been revised to US $ 546, 556, 551,
561, 564, 563, 636 and 3041 per M.T. respectively. Furthermore, Tariff value of
Gold imported by eligible passenger; Gold bars other than tola bars and Gold
coins having gold content not below 99.5% and gold findings have been revised
to US $ 557 per ten gram each and Silver, imported by eligible Passenger; Silver,
in any form, other than medallions and silver coins, and Medallions and silver
coins having silver content not below 99.9% etc. have been revised to US $ 501

eligible Passenger; Silver, in any form, other than medallions and silver coins,

Gopalpur Port [INGPR1] notified port for getting benefits under Ad-
vance Authorisation/EPCG schemes and other export incentive schemes like
MEIS/SEIS etc. — The Central Government has amended each of the Notifica-
tion Nos. 91/2009-Cus., 92/2009-Cus., 93/2009-Cus.; 94/2009-Cus.; 95/2009-
Cus.; 96/2009-Cus.; 97/2009-Cus.; 98/2009-Cus.; 99/2009-Cus.; 100/2009-Cus.;
101/2009-Cus.; 102/2009-Cus.; 103/2009-Cus. all dated the 11-9-2009; 104/2009-
Cus., dated 14-9-2009; 112/2009-Cus., dated 29-9-2009; 5/2013-Cus.; 6/2013-Cus.,
both dated 18-2-2013; 22/2013-Cus.; 23/2013-Cus. both dated 18-4-2013 and
16/2015-Cus., dated 1-4-2015, to include Gopalpur (ICD) as an eligible port for
getting benefits under Advance Authorisation/EPCG Schemes and other Export
Promotion Schemes like MEIS/SEIS etc. — Notification No. 25/2020-Cus., dated 21-

Extension of last date of export cut and polished Diamonds, Gold,
Silver and Platinum jewellery by six months, for cases where last date of
export falls between 1-2-2020 and 31-7-2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19
pandemic. — The Central Government has amended each of the Notification
Nos. 40/2015-Cus., dated 21-7-2015; 56/2000-Cus., dated 5-5-2000 and 57/2000-
Cus., dated 8-5-2000 to extend the last date of exports of Cut & Polished Dia-
monds imported for grading and certification by the agencies notified in the For-
eign Trade Policy (International Gemological Institute (India) Pvt. Ltd., Bandra
Kurla Complex, Mumbai has also been added to that list) and Gold, Silver, Plati-
num jewellery (export against supply by foreign buyer) by six months where the
last date of exports fall between 1-2-2020 and 31-7-2020 in view of COVID-19. —

Customs Law & Procedure
Exchange rates for import and export of goods. — Exchange rates for
Indian Rupee have been revised for imports and exports w.e.f. 22-5-2020. The
value of USD now stands at ` 76.60 for imports while ` 74.90 for exports. —
