                                            Paperless Customs - PDF based copies of Shipping Bill & e-Gatepass
                                     to be communicated to Custom brokers/Exporters electronically - Clarfication.
                                     — While continuing to promote Faceless, Contactless, Paperless Customs, the
                                     C.B.I. & C. has decided to rely upon digital copies of the Shipping Bill and do
                                     away with the requirement of taking bulky printouts from the Service Centre or
                                     maintenance of voluminous physical dockets in the Custom Houses. This reform
                                     will yield immense benefits in terms of saving the time and cost of compliance
                                     for the trade, thereby enhancing the ease of doing business. It has been directed
                                     that w.e.f. 22-6-2020 only the digital copy of the Shipping Bill bearing the Final
                                     LEO would be electronically transmitted to the exporter and the present practice
                                     of printing copies of the said document for the exporters and also for maintain-
                                     ing a docket in the Customs House would stand discontinued. Salient features of
                                     the secure electronic communication of the Final LEO copy of the Shipping Bill
                                     and the Gatepass copy of Shipping Bill have been outlined by the C.B.I. & C. It
                                     has been re-iterated that for the purposes of  exports, all the supporting docu-
                                     ments should mandatorily be uploaded in eSanchit and collection of physical

                                                             Anti-dumping Duty

                                            Anti-dumping duty on ‘Flat rolled product of steel, plated or coated
                                     with alloy of Aluminium and Zinc’, originating in, or exported from, People’s
                                     Republic of  China, Vietnam and  Republic  of Korea. — The Central Govern-
                                     ment has imposed definitive Anti-dumping duty  on the import of Flat rolled
                                     product of steel, plated or coated with alloy of Aluminium and Zinc, falling un-
                                     der Headings 7210, 7212, 7225 and 7226 of the Customs Tariff, originating in, or
                                     exported from, People’s Republic of China, Vietnam and Republic of Korea for a
                                     period of five years since the imposition of provisional Anti-dumping duty vide
                                     Notification No. 40/2019-Cus (ADD), dated 15-10-2019 and shall be payable in
                                     Indian currency. However, the said Anti-dumping duty shall not be levied for
                                     the period commencing from the date of the lapse of the provisional Anti-
                                     dumping duty i.e. 15-4-2020 up to the 22-6-2020. — Notification No. 16/2020-Cus.

                                                        Miscellaneous Notifications
                                            Micro, Small and Medium Industry - Criteria for Classification revised
                                     - Form and Procedure for Registration prescribed. — The Central Government,
                                     after obtaining the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on criteria of
                                     classification of Micro, Small and Medium enterprise, has notified the following
                                     criteria with effect from the 1-7-2020 : for Micro Industry investment in plant and
                                     Machinery not to  exceed ` One crore with turnover not exceeding ` Five crores;
                                     for a Small Industry investment in plant and Machinery not to exceed  ` Ten
                                     Crore with turnover not exceeding  ` Fifty crore and for the Medium Industry
