                                       Foreign Trade Policy

                       Human Embryos - Export Policy Revised. — The Central Government
               has amended the export policy of Human Embryos/Gametes/Gonad falling un-
               der Tariff Item 0511 99 99 under Chapter 5 of ITC (HS), 2018, Schedule-2 (Export
               Policy) to allow its export freely subject to ‘No Objection Certificate’ from Indian
               Council of Medical Research (ICMR). — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No. 11/2015-
               20, dated 12-6-2020. (See page E3)
                       Tyres - Import Policy revised to ‘Restricted’ from ‘Free’ — The Central
               Government has amended the import policy of Radial and Other Tyres for Cars,
               Buses, Motor Cycles and Cycles, etc. covered under ITC HS Code 4011 10, 4011
               20, 4011 40 and 4011 50 of Chapter 40 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I (Import Poli-
               cy) to put their import into India in Restricted category from Free category. —

                       Hydroxychloroquine API and its Formulations - Export policy revised
               to ‘Free’ from ‘Prohibited”. — The Central Government has amended the Notifi-
               cation No. 54, dated 25-3-2020 to amend the Schedule-2 of the ITC HS Export Pol-
               icy to allow free export of Hydroxychloroquine API and its formulations, cov-
               ered under HS Codes 2933 49 00, 2933 39 90, 2933 99 00, 3004 90 59 and 3004 90
               99. Prior to this these items were under Prohibited Category for export. — M.C.
               & I. (D.C.) Notification No. 13/2015-20, dated 18-6-2020. (See page E4)
                       Personal Protection Equipment/Masks - Export policy revised and Ex-
               port of specified PPEs Prohibited. — The  Central Government  has amended
               Notification  No.  44, dated 31-1-2020 read with Notification  No. 6, dated  16-5-
               2020 amending the Schedule-2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy to Prohibit export of
               Personal Protection Equipments/masks namely Medical Coveralls of all Clas-
               ses/Categories; Medical Goggles; all masks other than non-medical/non-surgical
               masks (Cotton, Silk, Wool , Polyester, Nylon, Rayon, Viscose - Knitted, Woven or
               Blended); Nitrile/NBR Gloves and Face Shield falling under ITC HS Codes 9018
               50; 9018 90; 9020; 3926 90; 6217 90 and 6307 90 exported either as part of kit’s or
               as individual  items.  — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No. 14/2015-20, dated 22-6-

                       Diamonds (cut and polished) - Re-import with Zero duty - Time-limit
               enhanced from 3 months to 6 months where re-import period expiring be-
               tween February 2020 to July 2020. — The Central Government has amended Pa-
               ra  4.44 of the Foreign Trade  Policy, 2015-20 to enhance the time-limit for  re-
               import facility of Cut and Polished Diamonds exported earlier, with zero duty
               from three months to six  months for cases where  re-import period is  expiring
               between 1-2-2020 to 31-7-2020 in light of COVID-19. — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notifica-

                       DGFT Cautions all Stake holders of existence of fake websites. — In
               view of the information brought to the notice of the DGFT that certain vested
