Track and Trace system for export of Pharmaceuticals and
drug consignments along with maintaining the Parent-
Child relationship in the levels of packaging and their
movement in supply chain — Extension of date of im-
plementation

Subject : Implementation of the Track and Trace system for export of Pharma-
ceuticals and drug consignments along with maintaining the Parent-
Child relationship in the levels of packaging and their movement in
supply chain - Extension of date of implementation regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign
Trade Policy, 2015-20, as amended from time to time, the Director General of
Foreign Trade hereby amends Para 2.90A of Handbook of Procedure - 2015-20, as
notified vide Public Notice No. 43/2015-20 dated 5-12-2017 read with Public No-
tice No. 52/2015-20 dated 5-1-2016, Public Notice No. 5/2015-20 dated 9-5-2018,
Public Notice No. 43/2015-2020 dated 1-11-2018 and Public Notice No. 16/2015-
2020 dated 4-7-2019 on laying down the procedure for implementation of the
Track and Trace system for export consignments of drug formulations.
2. In Para 2.90A(vi) and (vii) of Handbook of Procedure - 2015-20 (as
amended vide Public Notice No. 16/2015-2020 dated 4-7-2019), “1-4-2020” may
be substituted by “1-10-2020”.
3. Effect of this Public Notice :
The date for implementation of Track and Trace system for export of
drug formulations with respect to maintaining the Parent-Child relationship in
packaging levels and its uploading on Central Portal has been extended upto
1-10-2020 for both SSI and non SSI manufactured drugs.

208, 210, 222, 224, 229, 723 & 738 of 25th Edition of FTP & Handbook of Procedure Vol.
1, 2019-20]
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign
Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-2020, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby
makes, with immediate effect, the following amendments :
A. In the Handbook of Procedures (HBP), 2015-20 :
1. In para 1.01, the phrase “shall remain in force until 31st March, 2020”
is substituted by the phrase “shall remain in force until 31st March,
2021.”
2. In para 2.54(d)(v)(ii), the date “31st March 2020” is substituted by
“30th September 2020” and the date “1st April, 2020” is substituted
by “1st October, 2020”.
