                                     eOoC (electronic Out of  Charge) copy  of BoE and eGate-pass to the import-
                                     ers/Customs Brokers to reduce interface between the Customs authorities and
                                     the importers/Customs Brokers and also do away with the requirement of taking
                                     bulky printouts from the Service Centre or maintenance of voluminous physical
                                     dockets in the Customs Houses. The Final eOoC copy of Bill of Entry and eGate-
                                     pass copy will be emailed to the concerned Customs Broker and/or importer, if
                                     registered, once the Out of Charge is granted. The eGate-pass copy will be used
                                     by the Gate Officer or the Custodian to allow physical exit of the imported goods
                                     from the Customs area. Detailed procedure has been prescribed. This measure

                                            Refund and Drawback - Implementation of decision to expedite pend-
                                     ing refund  and drawback claims. —  To mitigate the hardship  caused by the
                                     COVID-19 pandemic to the trade and industry and other stakeholders, the C.B.I.
                                     & C. has taken a number of measures. In continuation of such endeavor, the field
                                     formations have been directed to launch a “Special Refund and Drawback Dis-
                                     posal Drive”, with immediate effect, with the objective of priority processing and
                                     disposal of all refund and drawback claims pending as on 7-4-2020, till 30-4-2020.

                                                            Foreign Trade Policy
                                            Export  of Ventilators and Sanitizers  Prohibited. — The Central Gov-
                                     ernment has amended Notification No. 52 dated 19-3-2020 to Prohibit, with im-
                                     mediate effect, export of  Ventilators,  including  any artificial respiratory appa-
                                     ratus or oxygen therapy apparatus or any other breathing appliance/device fall-
                                     ing under ITC HS Codes ex9018 and ex9019, ex9020 and Sanitizers falling under
                                     ITC HS Codes ex3401, ex3402 and 3004 90 87. — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No.
                                     53/2015-20, dated 24-3-2020. (See page E25)
                                            Export of Hydroxychloroquine and its Formulations Prohibited, how-
                                     ever, same is allowed in specified conditions - Export policy revised. — The
                                     Central Government has amended Schedule  2 of the ITC HS Export Policy to
                                     Prohibit export of Hydroxychloroquine and its formulations, with immediate
                                     effect. However, export of these items shall be allowed from the SEZ/EOU Units
                                     and in cases to fulfill export obligation under Advance license issued on or be-
                                     fore the date of this notification; in case of shipments where Irrevocable Letter of
                                     Credit (ICLC) has been issued before the date of this notification or full advance
                                     payment has been received and by the Government of India to other countries on
                                     humanitarian grounds. — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No. 54/2015-20, dated 25-3-

                                            Animal By-Products - Bones and bone products and gelatine to Euro-
                                     pean Union - Shipment clearance certificate by CAPEXIL mandatory - Export
                                     policy revised.  — The  Central Government has  amended Notification No.
                                     34/2015-20, dated 13-1-2017 to prescribe that for export of Bone and bone prod-
                                     ucts, including Ossein intended to be used for Human Consumption and Gela-
                                     tine, edible grade and not elsewhere specified or included, to European Union a
                                     Shipment Clearance Certificate,  to be issued consignment-wise by the CAPEXIL
                                     shall be mandatory.  — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification  No. 55/2015-20,  dated  30-3-
