Customs Area of West Quay 6 Berth at Visakhapatnam
Port Trust Visakhapatnam de-notified

Whereas West Quay 6 Berth, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam
was approved in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (a) of Sec-
tion 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) as a proper place for loading and un-
loading of goods and as “Customs Area” vide this office Notification No. 2/2015-
Customs (N.T.) (VSP), dated 13-7-2015 and M/s. West Quay Multiport Private
Limited was appointed as Custodian Under Section 45(1) of the Customs Act,
1962 for the said place vide Order of even number dated 13-7-2015 by the Princi-
pal Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Visakhapatnam.
Now, in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (a) of Section 8
of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), I, Dr. D.K. Srinivas, Principal
Commissioner of Customs, Visakhapatnam, upon issue of Order-in-Original No.
VIZ-CUSTM-000-COM-07/19-20, dated 23-3-2020 towards revocation of license
issued to M/s. West Quay Multiport Private Limited for violations made by
them under the Handling of Cargo in Customs areas Regulations, 2009, hereby
de-notify the Customs Area of West Quay 6 Berth at Visakhapatnam Port Trust,
Visakhapatnam with immediate effect.
