In exercise of powers conferred under Para 1.03 of the Foreign Trade
Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign
Trade, in public interest, makes the following amendments in Hand Book of Pro-
cedures, 2015-2020 :
2. In Para 4.37 of HBP 2015-10 under the Heading “Sea Ports”, ‘Gopal-
pur Port’ is added as a port of registration, and the amended para 4.37 under the
heading “Sea Ports” to read as under :
Sea Ports :
Bedi (including Rozi-Jamnagar), Chennai, Dahej, Dharamtar, Dhamra, Di-
ghi, Ennore (Tamil Nadu), Gopalpur, Haldia, Hazira (Surat), Jamnagar, Ka-
kinada, Kandla, Kattupalli Sea Port (Tamil Nadu), Kochi, Kolkata, Krish-
napatnam, Mangalore, Marmagoa, Muldwarka, Mumbai, Mundhra, Na-
gapattinam, Nhava Sheva, Okha, Paradeep, Pipavav, Porbander, Sikka,
Surat (Magdalla), Tuticorin, Vadinar, Vishakhapatnam.
Effect of Public Notice : Gopalpur Port is added by amending the Para
4.37 under Sub-Para ‘Sea Ports’ making Gopalpur as a port of registration for
various Schemes under the Foreign Trade Policy.

Urad — Import of additional quota of urad of 2.5 lakh MT
for Fiscal Year 2019-20
Subject : Import of additional quota of Urad (2.5 Lakh MT) for the fiscal year
2019-20.
Reference is invited to Trade Notice No. 43/2019-20, dated 19-12-2019
laying down the modalities for import of additional 2.5 Lakh MT of Urad for the
fiscal year 2019-20 directing the importers to complete imports by 31st March,
2020 and thereafter extending the deadline upto 30th April, 2020 vide Trade No-
tice No. 54/2019-20, dated 3rd March, 2020 and extended further upto 15th May,
2020 vide Trade Notice No. 4/2020-21, dated 16th April, 2020.
2. In this regard several representations were received seeking exten-
sion of the date of import of Urad beyond 15th May, 2020 due to the current lock
down situation against pandemic COVID-19. The matter has been examined and
it has been decided by the competent authority to extend the deadline for import
of additional 2.5 Lakh MT of Urad upto 31st May, 2020 i.e. imports should arrive
at Indian Ports before 31st May, 2020.
3. Accordingly, all license holders for Urad are requested to complete
their import by 31st May, 2020. No request for further extension will be enter-
tained.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
