port of such shipments. This clarificatory circular of DAHD will not be consid-

Vegetable oils (Blended edible) - Requirement of AGMARK certifica-
tion prior to import of Blended edible vegetable oils. — With reference to the
letter of Director (Imports), Food Safety and Standards Authority of India
(FSSAI) F. No. 1-1800/FSSAI/Imports/2019, dated 7-7-2020 the C.B.I. & C. has
instructed its field formations to ensure that import of Blended Edible Vegetable
Oils (BEVO) without prior AGMARK certification is not allowed in India. — M.F.

Express Cargo Clearance System (ECCS) for the clearance of export
goods - Implementation at Courier Terminal of Bengaluru Airport & Air Cargo
Commissionerate. — While inviting attention of all stakeholders to the provi-
sions of the Customs Act, 1962, as amended, Courier Imports and Exports (Elec-
tronic Declaration and Processing) Regulations, 2010, as amended, and Courier
Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998, as amended, the Principal
Commissioner of Customs, Airport and Cargo Complex, Bangaluru has pre-
scribed detailed procedure to be followed for clearance of export goods. — Prin-

Manufacture and Other Operations in Customs Warehouse - FAQ. —
The C.B.I. & C. has launched a revamped and streamlined program to attract in-
vestments into India to strengthen the Government’s mission of Make in India.
This program has been introduced vide the Manufacture and Other Operations
in Warehouse Regulations, 2019 which have been explained through Circular-
34/2019-Cus, dated 1-10-2019. Further, the C.B.I. & C. has brought out a compi-
lation of Frequently asked Questions (FAQs) and their answers on this topic for
information and guidance of all concerned and the prospective investors. —

Anti-dumping Duty
Anti-dumping duty on steel and fibre glass measuring tapes and their
parts and components, originating in, or exported from, Peole’s Republic of
China. — The Central Government has imposed Anti-dumping duty on imports
of Steel and Fibre Glass Measuring tapes and their parts and components falling
under Heading 9017 of the Customs Tariff, originating in, or exported from, the
People’s Republic of China for a period of five years, unless revoked, superseded
or amended earlier and shall be paid in Indian currency. — Notification No.

Anti-dumping duty on ‘Phenol’, originating in, or exported from,
South Africa. — The Central Government has amended Notification No.
32/2015-Cus. (ADD), dated 10-7-2015 to extend the imposition of Anti-dumping
duty on the import of Phenol falling under Tariff Item 2707 99 00 or sub-heading
