                                     In order to provide transition time to industry, this Notification shall come into
                                     force after 30 days of its  issue. However, changes to the Annex on Scheduled
                                     Chemicals, as at Sl. Nos. 63 to 66 of the Annexure to the Notification, shall come

                                            Personal Protection Equipment - Export policy revised to allow export
                                     of 50 lakh PPE Medical Coverall for COVID-19 units per month. — The Central
                                     Government has amended Notification No. 14, dated 22-6-2020 thereby amending
                                     the Schedule-2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy related to the export of Personal
                                     Protection Equipment i.e. PPE Medical Coveralls for COVID-19 falling under HS
                                     Code Nos. 3926 90, 6217 90, 6307 90 and 9018 90 to make such exports “Restrict-
                                     ed” instead of “Prohibited”. A monthly quota of 50 Lakh PPE medical Coverall
                                     for COVID-19 units has been fixed for issuance of export licenses to the eligible
                                     applicants as per the criteria to be prescribed. Other parts of PPE kits listed in the
                                     description against Serial No. 207A in the Notification No. 14, dated 22-6-2020,
                                     however, continue to remain prohibited for exports whether exported as  indi-
                                     vidual items or as part of PPE kits and the monthly quota shall not be applicable

                                            Flowers (cut) [HS Code 0603] - Import policy revised. — The Central
                                     Government has amended policy condition for import of Cut Flowers falling un-
                                     der HS Code 0603 of Chapter 6 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I (Import Policy) to
                                     allow its import only through the Chennai Airport. However, the import of Cut
                                     Flowers shall continue to remain “Free”.  —  M.C. &  I. (D.C.) Notification  No.

                                            Pre-shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIAs) - Validity of recognition
                                     listed in Appendix-2G extended up to 30-9-2020. — The D.G.F.T. has extended
                                     validity of the recognition of Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIAs) as listed
                                     in the Appendix-2G of A&ANF, whose validity expires on or before 30-6-2020,
                                     up to 30-9-2020. — D.G.F.T. Public Notice No. 11/2015-20, dated 30-6-2020. (See page

                                            MEIS Schedule (Appendix-3B) amended to Harmonize it with changes
                                     in the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019. — The D.G.F.T. has notified the amended Indi-
                                     an Trade Classification (Harmonized System) ITC (HS), 2017 harmonizing it with
                                     the changes  brought about by the Finance (No.  2) Act, 2019.  Certain  addi-
                                     tions/amendments have been made in the MEIS Schedule (Appendix-3B, Table
                                     2) to harmonize it with the Notification No. 38 dated 1-1-2020 and the changes in
                                     the Finance (No.) Act, 2019, Fifth Schedule as notified by C.B.I. & C. — D.G.F.T.
                                     Public Notice No. 12/2015-20, dated 10-7-2020. (see page E66)
                                            Export of PPE Medical coveralls for COVID-19 - Submission and ap-
                                     proval of applications - Procedure. — The DGFT has prescribed the application
                                     procedure and criterion for export of 50 lakh PPE medical coveralls for COVID-
                                     19 per month allowed for export under “Restricted” category vide Notification
                                     No. 16, dated 29-6-2020. The requirements/eligibility criteria applicable for issu-
                                     ance of Export license has also been prescribed. — Dy. D.G.F.T. Trade Notice No.
