Customs Tariff

                       Tariff values of Crude Palm oil, RBD Palm oil, Palm oil (others), Crude
               Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Palmolein (others), Crude Soyabean oil, Brass
               Scrap (all grades), Gold and Silver revised. — Tariff values of Crude Palm oil,
               RBD Palm oil, Palm oil (others), Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, Palmolein
               (others), Crude Soyabean oil and Brass Scrap (all grades) have been revised to US
               $ 622, 641, 632, 647, 650, 649, 747 and 3561 per M.T. respectively. Furthermore,
               Tariff value of Gold imported by eligible passenger; Gold bars other than tola
               bars and Gold coins having gold content not below 99.5% and gold findings have
               been revised to US $ 580 per ten gram each and Silver, imported by eligible Pas-
               senger; Silver, in any form, other than medallions and silver coins, and Medal-
               lions and silver coins having silver content not below 99.9%, etc. have been re-
               vised to US$ 609 per kilogram each. — Notification No. 57/2020-Cus. (N.T.), dated

                       Tariff value of silver revised. — Tariff value of Silver, imported by eli-
               gible Passenger; Silver, in any form, other than medallions and silver coins; and
               Medallions and silver coins having silver content not below 99.9%, etc. have been
               revised to US $ 717 per kilogram each. — Notification No. 60/2020-Cus. (N.T.), dat-
               ed 23-7-2020. (See page N40)
                       Tariff value of gold revised. — Tariff value of Gold imported by eligible
               passenger; Gold bars other than tola bars and Gold coins having gold content not
               below 99.5% and gold findings have been revised to US $ 612 per ten gram each.

                                   Customs Law & Procedure

                       Commissioner of  Customs, NS-V, Custom House, Nhava Sheva, ap-
               pointed Common Adjudicating Authority for cases related to M/s. Sony India
               Private Limited. — The C.B.I. & C. has appointed the Commissioner of Customs,
               NS-V, Custom House, Nhava Sheva, as the Common Adjudicating Authority in
               respect of specified show cause notices issued to M/s. Sony India Private Lim-
               ited, New Delhi. — Notification No. 58/2020-Cus. (N.T.), dated 16-7-2020. (See page
               N36)
                       Exchange rates for import and export of goods. — Exchange rates for
               Indian Rupee have been  revised for imports and  exports w.e.f. 17-7-2020. The
               value of USD now stands at ` 76.10 for imports while ` 74.40 for exports. — Noti-
