                       FASSAI - Use of PABA  (Para Amino Benzoic Acid) in the products
               covered under Nutraceuticals Regulations Banned  - Products containing
               banned ingredient not to be allowed clearance. — While inviting attention to
               the advisory dated 16-7-2020  issued by the Joint Director (RCD), Food Safety &
               Standard Authority of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, with refer-
               ence to FSSAI Order dated 29-6-2018, the C.B.I.&C. has instructed its field for-
               mations that the use of PABA (Para Amino Benzoic Acid) in the products cov-
               ered under Nutraceuticals Regulations has been banned due to safety concerns
               with immediate effect, therefore, all Customs Officials working  as Authorized
               Officers have been directed to ensure that imported products containing banned
               ingredient are not  cleared through their respective point of entries.  — M.F.

                                       Anti-dumping Duty

                       Anti-dumping duty on ‘Fluoroelastomers (FKM)’, originating in, or
               exported from, China PR extended till 27-10-2020. — The Central Government
               has amended Notification No. 6/2019-Cus. (ADD), dated 28-1-2019 vide which
               definitive Anti-dumping duty was imposed on Fluoroelastomers (FKM) falling
               under Tariff Items 3904 50 90, 3904 69 90, 3904 90 00 and 3904 69 10 of Customs
               Tariff, originating  in, or exported from, China PR and imported into India to
               substitute Tariff Item 3904 90 00 with 3904 90 90 and to extend imposition of An-
               ti-dumping duty up to and inclusive of 27-10-2020, unless revoked, superseded
               or amended earlier. — Notification No. 19/2020-Cus. (ADD), dated 21-7-2020. (See

                                       Foreign Trade Policy

                       Textile raw material for masks and coveralls - Export policy revised. —
               The Central Government  has amended Notification No. 52, dated 19-3-2020 to
               amend the Schedule-2 of the ITC HS Export policy related to export of textile raw
               material for masks and coveralls. Now, only non-woven fabric of 25-70 GSM fall-
               ing under ITC HS Codes 5603 12 and 5603 92 and melt blown fabric of any GSM
               exported against the HS codes specified above is prohibited for export. All other
               non-woven fabrics with GSM other than 25-70 GSM falling under ITC HS Codes
               5603 11, 5693 13, 5603 14, 5603 91, 5603 93 and 5603 94 are freely allowed for ex-

                       Powers Tillers and its components - Import policy revised from ‘Free’
               to ‘Restricted’. — The Central Government has amended the import policy and
               import policy conditions of items under Chapter 84 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I
               (Import Policy) to change the Import Policy of Power Tillers and its components
               falling under HS Codes 8432 80 20 and 8432 90 90 from ‘Free’ to ‘Restricted’. —

                       Personal Protection Equipment/Masks - Export policy revised. — The
               Central Government has amended Notification No. 14, dated 22-6-2020 amend-
