Anti-dumping Duty

Anti-dumping duty on ‘Aniline or Aniline oil’, originating in, or ex-
ported from, China PR. — The Central Government has imposed provisional
anti-dumping duty on Aniline or Aniline oil falling under Tariff Item 2921 41 10
of the Customs Tariff, originating in, or exported from, China PR and imported
into India for a period of six months unless revoked, amended or superseded
earlier and shall be payable in Indian currency. — Notification No. 20/2020-Cus.
(ADD), dated 29-7-2020. (See page N48)
Anti-dumping duty on ‘Digital Offset Printing Plates, originating in,
or exported from, People’s Republic of China, Japan, Korea RP, Taiwan and
Vietnam. — The Central Government has imposed Anti-dumping duty on Digi-
tal Offset Printing Plates falling under sub-headings 8442 50 and Tariff Items
3701 30 00, 3704 00 90, 3705 00 00, 7606 11 90, 7606 91 90 and 7606 92 90 of Cus-
toms Tariff originating in, or exported from, People’s Republic of China, Japan,
Korea RP, Taiwan and Vietnam and imported into India for a period of five years
from 20-1-2020 unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier and shall be pay-
able in Indian currency. — Notification No. 21/2020-Cus. (ADD), dated 29-7-2020.

Safeguard Duty
Safeguard duty on import of Solar Cells whether or not assembled in
modules or panels to continue till 29-7-2021. — As a result of review of safe-
guard duty on imports of Solar Cells whether or not assembled in modules or
panels falling under Tariff Items 8541 40 11 or 8541 40 12 of Customs Tariff im-
posed vide Notification No. 1/2018-Cus. (SG), dated 30-7-2018, the Central Gov-
ernment has imposed Safeguard Duty at specified rates on Solar Cells whether or
not assembled in modules or panels when imported into India during the period
from 30-7-2020 to 29-7-2021. This Safeguard Duty shall not apply to imports of
subject goods from countries notified as developing countries vide Notification
No. 19/2016-Cus. (N.T.), dated 5-2-2016, except People’s Republic of China, Thai-

Foreign Trade Policy

Personal Protection Equipment/Masks - Export policy revised. — The
Central Government has amended Notification No. 20, dated 21-7-2020 read with
Notification No. 16, dated 29-6-2020 to amend the Schedule-2 of the ITC (HS)
Export Policy, 2018 related to the export of Personal Protection Equip-
ment/Masks falling under HS Codes 9018 50, 9018 90, 9020, 3926 90, 6217 90 and
6307 90 to the extent that the export policy of 2/3 Ply Surgical masks, Medical
Goggles is amended from “Prohibited” to “Restricted” category and export of
Face Shields has been made “free”. — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No. 21/2015-20,

Television sets (colour TVs) - Import policy revised from ‘Free’ to ‘Re-
stricted’. — The Central Government has amended the Import Policy of Colour
