2018 for export of Non-Basmati rice falling under Tariff Item 1006 20 00, 1006 30,
1006 30 10, 1006 30 90 and 1006 40 00, and Basmati rice falling under Tariff item
1006 30 20 of HS Code to the extent that export of Rice (Basmati and Non-
Basmati) to EU member states and other European Countries namely Iceland,
Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland only will require Certificate of Inspec-
tion from EIA/EIC. Export to remaining European countries (except Iceland,
Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) will require Certificate of Inspection by
Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Agency for export from 1st Janu-

Gold Medallions and Coins or Gold Jewellery/Articles - Issuance of
Advance Authorisations where export item manufactured by fully mechanised
process. — The Central Government has amended Para 4.37 of the Foreign Trade
Policy, 2015-20 to the effect that Advance Authorisation shall not be issued
where item of export is Gold Medallions and Coins or Gold jewellery/articles

Import Policy conditions for import of various Chemicals in Chapters
29, 38 and 39 revised. — The Central Government has amended import policy
conditions of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I (Import Policy) for imports of various
chemicals falling in Chapters 29, 38 and 39. — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No.

Essential commodities supply under bilateral trade Agreement
between Government of India and Government of Maldives during 2020-21. —
The Central Government has allowed specified quantities of Eggs, Potatoes, On-
ions, Rice, Wheat Flour, Sugar, Dal, Stone Aggregates and River Sand for export
to the Republic of Maldives under bilateral trade agreement between Govern-
ment of India and Government of Maldives during the period 2020-21. The ex-
port of above items will be exempted from any existing or future re-
striction/prohibition on export. — M.C. & I. (D.C.) Notification No. 27/2015-20,

Textile raw material for Masks and Coveralls - Export policy revised to
Free’ from Prohibited. — The Central Government has amended Notification
No. 18, dated 13-7-2020 amending the Schedule 2 of the ITC HS Export policy
related to export of textile raw material for masks and coveralls to allow ‘Free’
export of Non-woven fabrics of any GSM (Except Melt-blow Fabric of any GSM)
falling under HS Codes 5603 12, 5603 92, 5603 11, 5693 13, 5603 14, 5603 91, 5603
93 and 5603 94. However, export of Melt-blow Fabric of any GSM remains ‘Pro-
